Wilma Febus

[February 14, 2011]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Wilma Eileen Febus, 94, of Sherman, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at 8:15 p.m. at Villa Health Care East in Sherman.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Riverton.

Mrs. Febus was a farm wife.

She was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Chester Township, Logan County. Her parents were Andy and Bessie Cox Lucas. She married Dallas D. Febus on Aug. 15, 1934, in Carlinville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1980.

She is survived by one son, Dallas E. (and Linda) Febus of Riverton; two daughters, Leora (and J. Lee) Hild of Mount Pulaski and Nancy Jo Awe of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers and one grandson.

She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
