Lincoln city fire and rescue calls

8:04 p.m. --
False-alarm call to the 1400 block of North Kickapoo. According
to fire department personnel, a call that came in at the city
fire department reported smoke present in a residence. When
firefighters arrived on the scene they found no presence of
smoke or fire.

8:30 p.m. --
Assisted EMS in a call to the 1500 block of Castle Manor Drive.

11:06 p.m. -- EMS rescue at the
intersection of South Logan and Clinton streets. According to
fire department personnel, a vehicle slid around the corner and
struck the side of a building. There were no injuries in the
incident and only minor damage.
