Harlan Warrick

[July 01, 2011]  ATLANTA -- Harlan E. Warrick, 87, of Atlanta, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 7:20 a.m. at The Christian Village Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Private family services are scheduled.

Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Warrick retired from Diamond Shamrock as a warehouse manager.

He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

He was born on June 24, 1924, in Lincoln. His parents were Charles H. and Edith DeGarmo Warrick. He married A. Marguerite Speciale on Jan. 11, 1947, in Joliet.

He is survived by his wife and one nephew, Robert Warrick.

One son and two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of Eminence Christian Church and Atlanta American Legion Post 341.

He graduated from Atlanta High School.

Memorials may be made to the Eminence Christian Church, Atlanta Rescue Squad or Atlanta Fire Department.
