Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor: Thank you and blessings to a stranger who took in
my 1-year-old bichon, Sophia, for the night. She was missing on July
4. They safely delivered her the next morning to the Humane Society
of Logan County, who promptly called us back when they received our
pet. My thank-you to the Humane Society for being a part of our
community.
It felt good to have Sophia back in our arms. How beautiful a day
can be ... when kindness touches it! There's just some good karma
going on here. Let’s keep it up!
