Vincent Boughan

[July 14, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Vincent Boughan, 88, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 6:50 p.m. at The Christian Village.

He was cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled later.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mr. Boughan was retired from the Illinois attorney general's office.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war.

He was born on July 12, 1923, in Lincoln. His parents were Vincent H. and Hilma V. Henke Boughan.

He is survived by one brother, Stanley (and Jenny Lou) Boughan of Lincoln; one nephew, Stacy (and Kimberly) Boughan of Mason City; and one niece, Julie (and Bill) Becker of Naples, Fla.

He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and American Legion Post 263.
