M. Cozette Reichle

[July 13, 2011]  LINCOLN -- M. Cozette Reichle, 81, of Lincoln, died Monday, July 11, 2011, at 8:40 a.m. at St. John's Hospice in Springfield.

A graveside service for Mrs. Reichle will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln, followed by a memorial Mass at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Laible officiating.

Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Reichle worked as a hairdresser for 48 years.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1929, in Lincoln. Her parents were Wendell and Clara Griffin Rothwell. She married Robert D. Reichle on June 20, 1959, at St. Patrick's Church in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2010.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda S. (and Stephen) Wurth of Hartsburg; three grandsons, Craig Wurth, Chad Wurth and Clint (and Hunter) Wurth; two great-grandchildren, Lezli and Lynzi Wurth; and two stepgrandchildren, Celton and Nolan Mercer.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Rothwell.

She was a member of Holy Family Church, Holy Family Auxiliary, Mount Pulaski Junior Woman's Club, Zonta and Hairdresser's Association 32.

She graduated from Mount Pulaski High School in 1947 and attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.

Funeral Director

Memorials may be made to St. John's Hospice in Springfield or Friendship Manor in Lincoln.
