To the editor: I would like to express my sincere gratitude for
the donations of food, clothing, gift cards and money for my family
in Joplin, Mo. My mother, Diana Bradway (originally from Lincoln),
and my niece Jessie and her son Carter lost everything when the
tornado hit their apartment complexes.
My daughter Jenna and I made a trip over the Memorial Day weekend
to take the donations to them. Needless to say, they were so
thankful!

Thank you also to Elaine Aue at Culver's and Tim Searby at Castle
Manor for allowing people to drop off their donations at those
locations.
A big thank you to Jim Phelan for letting Jenna borrow his van to
transport all the items. There was too much for my little SUV to
hold.
Jenna and I would like to let everyone know how much their
donations were appreciated.
