Grand jury indictments

[June 04, 2011]  The following list of indictments was released Friday afternoon by Logan County State's Attorney Michael McIntosh:

On June 3, 2011, the Logan County Grand Jury returned six (6) indictments. 

Lincoln resident, John H. Buckner, Jr., was indicted on one (1) count of Harassment of a Witness. Harassment of a Witness is a class 2 felony.

A Lincoln resident was indicted on four (4) counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse is a class 2 felony.

Lincoln resident, John Clifford Cronin, was indicted on one (1) count of Aggravated Battery and on one (1) count of Burglary. Aggravated Battery is a class 3 felony. Burglary is a class 2 felony.

A Mt Pulaski resident was indicted on four (4) counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse is a class 2 felony.

Lincoln resident, Jose Evaristo Nieves, was indicted on one (1) count of Aggravated Battery and on one (1) count of Burglary. Aggravated Battery is a class 3 felony. Burglary is a class 2 felony.

Lincoln resident, Jeffrey H. Wade, was indicted on one (1) count of Burglary and on two (2) counts of Criminal Damage to Property (not in excess of $300.00). Burglary is a class 2 felony. Criminal Damage to Property is a class A misdemeanor.

Each person who was indicted is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
