Vicki Gaston

[June 10, 2011]  WAYNESVILLE -- Vicki A. Gaston, 59, of Waynesville, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 7:45 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Waynesville Christian Church. Dave Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time.

Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery at Downs.

Arrangements are with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.

Ms. Gaston had been employed at State Farm Insurance in Bloomington.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1951, in Bloomington. Her parents were Mae Knupp Gaston and Calvin H. "John" Gaston. She was married to Danny Price. He survives in Royse City, Tex.

She is survived by four children, Cheryl Price (and Darrell Colwell) of Waynesville, Mike Daniel (and Cindy) Price of Royse City, Texas, James Walter Price (and Teresa Guera) of Lincoln and Joseph Wayne Price of Royse City, Texas; one brother, John C. (and Karen) Gaston of Lincoln; one sister, Karol Sue Eimer of New Holland; one uncle, Warren "Pid" Gaston of Albion; eight grandchildren, Amanda Hubbs, Mike Daniel Price Jr., Trevor Joel Price, Dusty Dickerson, Savanna Colwell, Shannon Colwell, Ashley Nicole Price and Kelsey Nicole Price; and two great-grandchildren, Devan Dickerson and Dayton Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nancy A. Gibson and Enza "Penny" Allen.

Funeral Director

Vicki was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Auxiliary.

She graduated from Tri-Valley High School.
