Dennis 'Boomer' Ingram

[February 28, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Dennis Ray "Boomer" Ingram, 47, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at 11:17 a.m. at his home.

A memorial service for Mr. Ingram will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. Ryan J. Edgecombe will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service time.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery at a later date.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1964, in Lincoln. His parents were Donald Dean and Geneva Spurling Ingram. He married Amy Miller on Dec. 17, 1982, in Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife; his mother, of Lincoln; his sons, Dustin R. Ingram of Lincoln, Andrew S. Ingram of New Holland and Jordan C. Hobbs of Lincoln; one brother, Mark Ingram of Lincoln; and one granddaughter, Kaylea Ingram.

He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Genedean Ingram; and one brother, David Dean Ingram.

He graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1982.

Boomer enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the APA Pool League, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Lincoln Sportsman Club.
