Rosetta Webb

[May 02, 2011]  SPRINGFIELD -- Rosetta Fay Webb, 82, of Springfield, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 7:10 a.m. at St. John's Hospital.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Weber conducting the service.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Rosetta worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue for 17 years and retired in 1991.

She was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Lake Fork Township. Her parents were Merle and Edna Weckel Riedle.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristan Webb of Springfield, Susan (and David) Kmiec of Palatine and Kathleen (and Mike) Toohey of Mount Pulaski; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Webb, and her brother, Gerald Riedle.

She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 32, 8 & 40 Salon 225 and AARP Chapter 195.
