Sharon Huette

[May 25, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Sharon Diane Boyd Huette, 65, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 1:56 a.m. at her home.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Doug Lowery officiating.

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, rural Beason.

She had been employed as a nurse's aide at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital and the Kraus Home in Lincoln.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1945, in Lincoln. Her parents were Donald C. and Lucille Ollis Boyd. She married Ralph Huette on July 28, 1994.

She is survived by her husband; her children, Anthony W. Summers of Lincoln, Clifford Eugene Summers of Louisville, Ky., Denise (and Mark) Washko of Sherman and Jennifer Summers of Lincoln; three stepchildren, Tony Huette and Chad Huette, both of Morton, and Shelly Bukowski of Mackinaw; three brothers, Raymond "Bud" Boyd of Bloomington, Donald Ted Boyd of LeRoy and Gene Boyd of Peoria; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Summers, and two brothers, Danny Boyd and Mike Boyd.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Hospice or Special Olympics.
