[November 03, 2011]  TAYLORVILLE -- Jordan David DeClerck, 22, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at 3 a.m. in Logan County.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at same location. Pastor Stan Pratt and the Rev. Tim Moats will officiate.

Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington.

He was born April 3, 1989, in Springfield to George and Bobbie Brewer DeClerck.

He is survived by his parents, of Taylorville; his brother, Joshua (and Stacie) DeClerck of Lincoln; his sisters, Tiffany (and Brian) Gall of Virden and Taylor DeClerck of Taylorville; his grandmothers, Shirley DeClerck of Pana and Sandra Brewer of Taylorville; several aunts and uncles; five nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George H. DeClerck and James F. Brewer.

Jordan was a hard worker who enjoyed time with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, working with his hands, and he loved his dog.
