Lyle Hall

[November 05, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Lyle Richard Hall, 93, of Lincoln, formerly of Rushville, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at The Christian Village.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Rushville City Cemetery.

Mr. Hall and his wife moved to Lincoln in 1955. 

He was born April 29, 1918, the son of Richard Hall and Ollie Kirkham Hall. He married Dorcas Dean on Oct. 11, 1939, in Palmyra, Mo.

He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two sons, Bob Hall and his wife, Louise, of Lincoln and Lyle D. Hall of Cooksville; one daughter, Janet Vogt and her husband, Robert, of Monticello; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marjorie Greer; and one great-grandson, Brian Hall.

Lyle and his wife joined Jefferson Street Christian Church and most recently attended worship services at The Christian Village Congregate Building.

Funeral Directors

Memorial donations may be made to The Christian Village or Jefferson Street Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
