Sandra Ebel

[November 16, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Sandra Dee Ebel, 62, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at 2:45 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Miss Ebel was a retired teacher.

She was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Lincoln to Walther and Delores M. Cattau Ebel.

She is survived by one sister, Libby (and Jay) Anderson of Naperville; a niece, Jennifer (and Richard) Pomrenke of New Orleans, La.; and a great-nephew, Christopher Pomrenke of Mobile, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Ebel.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Memorials may be given to her church or to the Zion Faith Youth Fund.
