C
hristian Child Care's
Giraffe pre-kindergarten class took time last week to
visit Gail's Pumpkin Patch in Beason to celebrate fall. The
class has been studying beehives, and Gail had an actual beehive
for them to see what it really looks like. The class had already
tasted honeycomb earlier this summer and loved the taste of
real honeycomb, so this added to the experience. The children did
crafts, picked out their own pumpkins and even took a mini train
ride around the patch.
