LINCOLN -- JoAnn Renfrow, 74, of
Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Atlanta
Cemetery. Maurice Stribling will officiate. Arrangements are with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta.
Over the course of her life, Mrs. Renfrow worked at Stetson's and Eaton manufacturing
facilities in Lincoln and as a home health care
giver. She also volunteered as a foster grandparent
at Chester-East Lincoln School.
She was born Dec. 18, 1936, in Atlanta. Her
parents were Edward and Maude Awe Baker. She married
Calbert Renfrow, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (and
Chris) Carter of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Stephanie
Hart of Lincoln; two stepchildren, Terry (and Carol)
Renfrow of Minonk and Carol Mattingly of
Bloomington; six grandchildren, Timothy and Ryan
Bell, Leigh Ann Bethel, and Konnor, Kayleigh and
Kristopher Evans; six stepgrandchildren, Malinda
Peters, Michael Renfrow, Jodi (and Eric) Slater,
Travis Stout, Erica (and Chuck) Riblet and Jared
Mattingly; three great-grandchildren; nine
step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Winton (and
Virginia) Baker of Bakersfield, Calif., and Ronald
(and Cherie) Baker of Atlanta; and one sister, Jean
Hill of Atlanta.
She was also preceded in death by one brother,
Edwin B. Baker.
