[October 13, 2011]  Community Action has announced their Employee of the Quarter. Kane Blaum was awarded the honor for the work he does as final inspector with the agency's weatherization program through the corporate office in Lincoln.

"Kane is always willing to help out others and constantly goes above and beyond what is asked of him," said the co-worker nominating Blaum.

He has been a part of Community Action since March 2010. He has been recognized as always being polite and thorough with clients while making them feel comfortable. His co-workers agree that he is an excellent team player and that he is eager to help out other departments within Community Action.

Blaum was presented with a plaque and $50 gift card by Angela Stoltzenburg, executive director, and Beth Fleshman, deputy director.
