Cremation rites have been accorded. Peasley
Funeral Home in Lincoln is assisting the family with
arrangements.
He was born Feb. 16, 1990, in Worcester, Mass.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Katherine
Rodriguez Malmquist; his older brother, Cy Malmquist;
his stepbrother, Sahu Rodriguez; and his younger
sister, Karina Joy Malmquist.
Brett graduated from Yuma High School in Yuma,
Ariz. He pursued collegiate studies and athletics at
The Kiski School in Pennsylvania and Darton College
in Georgia.
He was currently attending Lincoln College, where
he was a member of the swim team.
