Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Peasley
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 2
p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Tony Shuff
officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery,
Beason.
Following her retirement from work as a dietary
technician at Lincoln Developmental Center, Mrs.
Bland was employed at the Lincoln Walmart.
She was born on Jan. 30, 1947, in Lincoln. Her
parents were Eugene H. and Rachel E. Zook Edwards.
She married Robert M. Bland in September 1968.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Bland,
Robert E. (and Tammy) Bland and Chad M. (and Dianna)
Bland, all of Lincoln; two brothers, H. David "Bear"
(and Margaret) Edwards and James R. Edwards, both of
Beason; two sisters, Carolyn Schall of Springfield
and Marilyn Jackson; seven grandchildren, Jarred,
Megan, Jason, Shelby, Caleb, Emily and Devin; and
one great-grandson, David.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of New Wine Fellowship.
She was a 1965 graduate of Beason High School.
