A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with the
Rev. Glenn Fontana officiating. Visitation will be
at the church from 9 a.m. until the service time.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Loeffelholz was a restaurateur in Decatur for
many years, owning The Cafe Tiffany. He was also a
contractor.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1959, at St. Clara's
Hospital in Lincoln, a son of Dan and Julia Cecil
Loeffelholz.
He is survived by his father, of Lincoln; his
maternal grandmother, Helen Cecil of Lincoln; one
brother, Gene Loeffelholz of Lincoln; one sister,
Susan Loeffelholz of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one
nephew, Gage Loeffelholz.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
George earned his Eagle Scout badge as a member
of Boy Scouts of America Troop 109.
He graduated from Lincoln Community High School
in 1978.
He loved scuba diving, fishing, camping, trapping
and hunting. He also enjoyed playing poker with his
friends. |
