Letters to the Editor

Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

Walk for Life update -- it's not too late to donate

Send a link to a friend

Hello, PRC friends!

Thank you to all of you who participated in some way in this year's Walk for Life. With your help, we were able to raise $14,749.04! That's a great number, and we couldn't have done it without the prayer and financial support of this community!

Our goal for this year was to raise $25,000. This means we came up short $11,250.96. If you were unable to attend the Walk for Life, or if you were unable to give at that time, it's not too late to reach our goal.

[to top of second column in this letter]

If you did not get a chance to give at or before the walk, you can still send or drop off a donation at 308 N. Union St., Lincoln, IL 62656.

Thank you again to all who participated in any way. You are greatly appreciated by the staff, volunteers and clients of the Pregnancy Resource Center.

With a heart for the unborn,

Linda Nelson and Amanda Stidham
PRC staff
