Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor: For 48 years, the Zonta Club of Lincoln has been
serving a turkey dinner on the first Sunday in November. The
citizens of Logan County have supported this fundraising event since
its inception. This support has allowed the Zonta Club of Lincoln to
fund the Zonta Career Scholarship. As of this letter, Zonta has been
able to provide over $60,000 in scholarships to the students of our
county. Logan County has made these scholarships possible.
We would like to say thank you to the community for their many
years of support and look forward to the continued support in the
future.
