David and Roseann Coers, pictured here on a trip to Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Monday, Oct. 8.

David Coers and Roseann Schrader were married Sunday, Oct. 8, 1967, at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Their attendants were Suzann Schrader (Lolling) and Darrell Wibben.

David and Roseann have three sons: John (and Annie) of New Holland, Jim (and Erin) of Mason City, and Jared (and Melissa) of Groton, Conn. They have 11 grandchildren: Adam, Taylor, Chelsea, Austin, Caleigh, Alex, Keeghan, Meghann, Madyson, Alec and Jayce.

David is retired and Roseann is administrative assistant at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
