Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon.
Wheat futures gained strength from
smaller world production forecasts.
Trading activity was slower as
many traders await the next USDA crop report to be released on
Thursday morning.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids steady to 3 cents higher at 7.19-7.32.
Soybean bids were mostly 1 to 4
cents higher at 15.17-15.34.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were steady at 7.27-7.45.
Soybean bids were 1 cent lower at
15.30-15.42.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady
at 7.36-7.54.
Soybean bids were mixed at
15.30-15.43. Wheat bids were 3 cents higher at 8.27-8.47.
