Annual New Holland Fall Festival this weekend

[October 26, 2012]  NEW HOLLAND -- Saturday the village of New Holland will host the New Holland Fall Festival. A day full of activities is planned, with the help of several groups offering food and fun for all ages.

The morning will kick off at 8 with the New Holland-Middletown Boy Scouts serving a pancake and sausage breakfast, and with garage sales and flea market as well until 11 a.m. The parade will begin at 9 a.m.

Kids' crafts and activities will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a costume contest at noon and a kiddie tractor pull starting at 1 p.m. The tractor pull is being sponsored by the Logan County Farm Bureau.

The New Holland Fire Department is sponsoring a lunch.

The local home business vendors are sponsoring a quarter auction at 2 p.m., with a portion of the event proceeds being donated to the New Holland-Middletown Supports Education group.
