NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

State of Illinois Public Transportation
Operating Assistance Grants
For Logan and Mason County
Notice is hereby given that a
public hearing will be held by the City of Lincoln on Friday, April
19, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the board room at the Community Action
Partnership of Central Illinois, 1800 Fifth Street, Lincoln,
Illinois 62656, for the purpose of considering a project for which
financial assistance is being sought from the Illinois Department of
Transportation for State of Illinois public transportation operating
assistance grants from the FY14 Section 5311 and Downstate Operating
Assistance Programs, pursuant to the Illinois Department of
Transportation’s general authority to make such grants, and which is
generally described as follows:

Description of Project:
Provision of a demand response public transportation system in
Logan and Mason County. The hours of operation for demand
response service will be Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00
pm., with the exception of holidays. Ride
requests for demand response services will be made through a
centralized dispatching system.

Elderly and Disabled: All
transportation equipment used for this system will meet ADA
accessibility rules for the elderly and persons with
disabilities. At the hearing the City of Lincoln will afford an
opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with
respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the
project.

orally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to
