Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[December 19, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Wednesday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mostly lower on Wednesday afternoon.

Technical trading pushed grains lower.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 2 to 5 cents lower at 3.97-4.21.

Soybean bids were 24 cents lower at 12.90-13.10.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were steady to 3 cents higher at 3.99-4.19.

Soybean bids were 21 to 22 cents lower at 13.09-13.29.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 3 to 6 cents lower at 4.09-4.21.

Soybean bids were 23 cents lower at 13.19-13.40.

Wheat bids were 5 to 9 cents lower at 5.90-6.26.
