Wednesday, the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber Ambassadors helped the staff of Lincoln's Carpet House celebrate a remodeling of their location on the city's west side. The interior of the business has been completely redone and offers a gigantic selection of floor coverings and tile products. If you've not been to Carpet House recently, be sure to stop in soon and check out their new decor as well as all the great products they now have available through their new business relationship with Carpet Weavers.

Lincolnite Devin Biggs is off to a great start in his freshman year at Western Illinois University. Biggs is one of the 120-plus members of the Marching Leathernecks. This marching season Biggs received two recognitions from the band: the "Most Improved Low Bass" and the "Most Improved Marching Leatherneck Award." Biggs is a favorite contributor at Lincoln Daily News and oftentimes shares with us his knowledge of weather, as well as some awesome pictures.
