With
the milder temperatures we're experiencing this week, it may be hard to
remember that cold weather can arrive in a moment's notice, and more than
likely we'll have some below-freezing days between now and spring. Among the items in today's TOP STORIES is a release from Illinois
American Water. It offers tips on how to protect your plumbing in
below-freezing conditions. Be sure to check it out.

In
this undated photo, actor Brad Pitt in his role as Austrian
mountaineer and former Nazi party member Heinrich Harrer
reclines on a mountain ledge during the filming of "Seven Years
in Tibet." Pitt is now on China's version of Twitter, and his
mysterious first tweet has drawn thousands of comments. The
actor's verified Sina Weibo account sent the message Monday: "It is the truth. Yup, I'm coming." That was
forwarded more than 31,000 times and netted over 14,000
comments, many expressing surprise. He gathered more than
100,000 followers.
