When
the Oasis Senior Center was struck by lightning and caught fire in June, the
future of the popular gathering place may have looked bleak to some, but not to
the director and board of the center. They immediately had offers of
temporary homes for the center, and this week they will reopen in one of those
offerings. Senior services offered by the Oasis will resume Tuesday at St. John United Church of Christ, 204
Seventh St. in Lincoln. Read more about this in the story below.
