[June 20, 2013]  Lincoln Community High School graduates Dane Eimer and Riley Reid will wear their Railsplitter football helmets once more, as they have been chosen to play in the 23rd annual Order of the Eastern Star All-Star Football Game. The game will be played Saturday at 4 p.m. at Millikin University in Decatur.

Eimer and Reid will suit up for the West squad, which is being coached by Springfield High coach R.J. Luke.

There are practices this week, and there will be a banquet for the players Friday night.

Eimer and Reid were both all-conference selections in the Central State Eight for the 2012 season. Both young men have signed to continue their academic and football careers in college: Eimer with Benedictine University in Lisle and Reid with Quincy University in Quincy.
