Tuesday evening Melody Anderson, mayor pro tem, introduced Tim Ferguson to the Lincoln City Council.
Ferguson is the newly appointed waste treatment manager. He is employed by American Water, with whom the city has a contract for management of the sewer system and waste treatment plant.
Ferguson is replacing Darrell Palmer, who was assigned to the position in November of 2011.
