The Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers' volleyball season came to an end Thursday night in the Hartsburg Sectional. The Lady Toppers may have lost the sectional championship to Sciota West Prairie, but they did not go down without a fight. The match went three games, with the Cyclones getting the best of the Lady Toppers 25-20, 28-30 and 25-21. Mount Pulaski was led by sophomore Maddy Davis with 20 kills and junior Whitney Nichols with 10 kills. The Lady Toppers finish the season with a record of 24 wins and 15 losses.
