Davenport is surrounded by family after being appointed to one of two
open Logan County Board seats. Down front is Avery, and from left to right are Lori
Bottrell, Beth Davis-Kavelman, Alexis Davis, Emily holding Brigs, and Josh
Davenport. The new board member follows a family of political interests. Her mother,
Davis-Kavelman, served as a Logan County Board member and then two
terms as Lincoln's mayor. Her aunt, Bottrell, has also been involved in a
range of public service positions.
