The City of Lincoln will be holding a short ceremony of dedication for Busby-Turner Park on Monday, August 18, 2014, at 6 p.m. The park is located in the 100-block of S. Sangamon Street in Lincoln and was named by the Lincoln City Council in memory of former Ald. Orville "Buzz" Busby and former Ald. Nathan Turner. Judy Busby, Sarah Turner, and their families are expected to be in attendance. The public is invited and welcome to attend as well.

Pam Brown of Springfield sits for a portrait as Mary Todd Lincoln, the wife of the late president. Brown will be in Elkhart in October and November offering dramatic reenactments from the life of Mary Todd Lincoln. Brown is widely known for her portrayal for the president's wife in the drama "The Ultimate Betrayal; The Insanity Trial of Mary Lincoln." The drama played on PBS and won Brown a Midwest Emmy nomination.
