Waters struck the unattended vehicle owned by Wright while
attempting to back into a parking space.
Contributing factor: improper backing.

Location: Intersection of Water and Peoria Streets.

Allen was westbound on Peoria St. Morales was southbound on Water
St.
Allen was cited for failure to yield at an intersection; no valid
drivers license, expired 6 months or less.

Dec. 10, 10:28 a.m. - two vehicle
Location: Broadway St. near N. Logan St.
- Veech, Barbara H., 79;
2011 Cadillac Seville
- Jenkins, Brian K., 48;
2013 Dodge Challenger
Veech was backing out of a parking place and backed into Jenkins
vehicle which was west bound on Broadway.
There were no injuries.
Contributing factor: improper backing.

Dec. 4, 5:26 p.m. - Single vehicle
Location: 405 S. State St.
Winkel, Edgar D., 79;
2009 GMC
Winkle was driving east on Fifth St. when his vehicle left the
roadway, traveled through a yard and struck bushes damaging the
front undercarriage of his vehicle and shrubberies belonging to
Patsy Weimer.
Citation: Operating in violation of restriction or restricted
driving permit. Failure to give information after striking
unattended vehicle or property (shrubs).

Dec. 10, 3:04 p.m. - Hit and run
Location: 511 Keokuk St.
- Vehicle owned by Mason, Lisa K.;
2008 Chevrolet Uplander
Mason's vehicle was parked in a parking space on the south side of
Thornton's when struck by an unknown vehicle driver. Damages were to
the drivers front headlight and quarter panel.
Dec. 13, 7:50 a.m. - unknown driver, single vehicle theft/damage
Michael Galvin reported a vehicle in his driveway at 617 N. Monroe.
The vehicle had struck the garage and caused damage to both the
vehicle and the garage.
The vehicle, a 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE owned by Bryson L. Eads, had
been reported stolen on Dec. 12.
