Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois has announced their Employee of the Year. Nitsie Gleason, Head Start administrative secretary, was honored for the work she does within the Head Start birth-to-5 program as well as the overall teamwork she displays with Community Action. Gleason was previously named the Employee of the Quarter for January-March of 2013. She was presented with a plaque and $250 gift card by Jake Sexton, executive director, at the meeting of the governing board of directors in December.
