Friends and family plan to celebrate the lives of four teens killed in a fatal crash six years ago. There will be a remembrance of the teens at the FFA breakfast on Sunday at 9 a .m.  The annual drive to the crash site and subsequent memorial service will begin at 2:30 with everyone meeting in the parking lot of Big R.

OK, Mother Nature, we are SNOW over it! What was supposed to be a light snow on Friday turned into something a bit more significant. The result was that instead of seeing our snow pile shrink over the last eight days, we actually saw it GROW!

Good luck to coach Josh Komnick and the Panthers of Chester-East Lincoln as they will play at 2:30 today in the IESA eighth-grade Class1-A quarterfinals against a Rantoul team. The game will take place at Limestone High School in Bartonville. A win puts them in the final four with another matchup slated for 6:30.

After winning their sectional this week, the team and their cheerleaders posed for a picture by Brickey Photography.
