Dr. Penny
Wittler smiles happily at the Sunday morning FFA pancake and sausage
breakfast. Wittler is in her second year as ag teacher and FFA adviser at
Lincoln Community High School. She's very pleased with the growth she is
seeing in FFA and in the ag classes. See more photos from the breakfast in

Today
we're taking a break from the snow pile, because the
word of the day for yesterday was ICE! The day
started with a little bit of sleet, then freezing
rain, and alas, it did end with another light coat of
snow. For the wildlife, it was a tough day
because feeders iced over and branches were
slippery. For the human life, it was also a
kind of tough day as sidewalks and streets became
temporary skating rinks.
