This week the children at Lincoln Christian Preschool have been celebrating the 100th birthday of children's author Dr. Seuss. On Wednesday they enjoyed the story of "The Cat in the Hat," read by children's minister Marcia Wells. They all wore their favorite hats and afterward enjoyed cupcakes. There is a full album of pictures from the event in the Teaching & Learning section below.

The snow pile on Tuesday looked a lot different from the Monday shot, but not really any smaller, just a bit dirtier, and well ... just not as pretty. As for our "snowball," it's still there, but it seems it has changed a little bit as well. We're betting that in a day or two it will go away. Wouldn't it be nice if the entire pile would?!
