Thursday
during the monthly potluck dinner sponsored by the Oasis, executive director Dom Dalpoas shared
the good news that Webster Construction has been awarded the bid for the remodeling
of the new senior site. He also shared that Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Homes has generously donated the lighted signage for the new building.
The Oasis has purchased the former Rusty's Clubhouse on the city's west end. The target date for completion of the remodeling is early June. LDN will have
complete coverage of the Thursday event in the Saturday edition.

The primary
difference in the snow pile over the last two days
seems to be that it has returned to its ugly color. The angle of the
two shots may be slightly different, but we're still going to tell
ourselves that there was some shrinkage, based on the
visibility of the bush right behind the pile and the
lack of the little lumps at the front of the pile.
