This week on Thursday the folks at the Oasis Senior Center enjoyed a St. Patrick's Day lunch at their monthly potluck.

They also got word that the contractor has been selected for the remodeling of their recently purchased building on the city's west side.

Webster Construction won the bid and has already begun gutting out the former Rusty's Clubhouse in preparation for turning it into a beautiful new permanent home for the senior center.

The senior group also heard that Fricke-Calvert-Schrader has donated the lighted signage for the new location.

Chuck Fricke, Ron Olthoff and Nathan Fricke were among the special guests at the luncheon.

Diners get in line for their meal.

The monthly potluck brings in pretty large crowds, especially since the weather has brightened up.

Half of the buffet line was absolutely mouth-watering desserts.

Guests get ready to line up for the corned beef.
