Thursday
morning, eight young men from the Logan County community were awarded
scholarships through the Lincoln/Logan Chamber of Commerce Ag Scholarship
program. Pictured above from the left are John Klemm, scholarship

Work has resumed on
the Pulaski Street project, and as the old saying goes, "sometimes things have to
get worse before they can get better." Right now the brick pavement is
being pulled out, as shown in the picture above. One can also see that the bricks
are being stacked on pallets. This is because as the city works to
refurbish some of its existing brick streets, the Pulaski Street bricks will be
used as replacement parts.

If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend,
why not check out the Lake Fork Auction. The annual
event features all kinds of "stuff," with multiple
auctioneers running rings throughout the day. There is
also the famous food that is served inside the former Lake Fork School building
throughout the day. The Lake
Fork biscuit bakers are famous in these parts, and the gravy
that goes with it isn't bad either! The auction takes
place on Saturday in Lake Fork.
