Food/Milk/Bread Bids for 2014-2015

 Notice of Public Meeting

On May 13, 2014 at 9:30 AM, a meeting conducted by Chester-East Lincoln #61 will take place at Chester-East Lincoln School.  The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend home schools within the district for the 2014-2015 school year.  If you are a parent of a home-schooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Chester-East Lincoln #61, you are urged to attend.  If you have further questions pertaining to this meeting, please contact Mrs. Jennifer Hamm, Superintendent, at 732-4136.

Logan County 

RE:  State of Illinois Paratransit Vehicle Grant for Logan and Mason County 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by:  Pamela Meagher 

On: Friday, May 23, 2014
At: 3:00 pm 
Where: Logan County Courthouse
In: County Board Room
               601 Broadway St., Room 16
               Lincoln, IL 62656 

I.             For the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from the Illinois Department of Transportation, pursuant to the Illinois Department of Transportation's general authority to make such Grants, and which is generally described as follows: 

A.                  Description of Project

Expansion of vehicles to provide transportation services in Logan and Mason counties.

This project will be included in a Consolidated Vehicle Procurement Program undertaken by the State of Illinois on behalf of Logan County, with State and Federal Funds. 

B.     Relocation    Relocation Assistance will not be required.

 

C.     Environment    This project is being implemented to minimize environmental impact.

 

D.     Comprehensive Planning   This project is in conformance with comprehensive transportation planning in the area.

 

E.     Elderly and Disabled   All new equipment included in this project will meet ADA accessibility rules for the elderly and persons with disabilities.
 

II.             At the hearing, Logan County will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the project.  Interested persons may submit orally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to said project.
 

III.            A copy of the application for a state grant for the proposed project for the intended service area will be made available for public inspection at the Logan County Board office.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

County of Logan, Illinois
State of Illinois Public Transportation
Operating Assistance Grants
For Logan and Mason Counties

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Logan County on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the board room at the Logan County Courthouse, 601 Broadway Street, Lincoln, Illinois 62656, for the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from the Illinois Department of Transportation for State of Illinois public transportation operating assistance grants from the FY14 Section 5311 and Downstate Operating Assistance Programs, pursuant to the Illinois Department of Transportation’s general authority to make such grants, and which is generally described as follows:

       A. Description of Project: Provision of a demand response public transportation system in Logan and Mason County. The hours of operation for demand response service will be Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm., with the exception of holidays. Ride requests for demand response services will be made through a centralized dispatching system. Expansion of vehicles to provide transportation services in Logan and Mason County.

       B. Elderly and Disabled: All transportation equipment used for this system will meet ADA accessibility rules for the elderly and persons with disabilities.

At the hearing Logan County will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to said project.
