Millikin University Choir to hold CD release concert May 17

[May 16, 2014]  DECATUR - The Millikin University Choir will present a concert featuring musical selections from their Baltic tour program on Saturday, May 17 beginning at 5 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, located at 1360 W. Main St. in Decatur, Ill. The concert is free and open to the public.

The University Choir will hold six performances from May 20-30, 2014, in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia including combined concerts with the Mykolas Riomeris University Choir and the Tallin University Choir. The University Choir will also sing Mass at the Dome Cathedral in Riga, Latvia. The concert is also the release performance for the choir's recently recorded CD, "Exsultate!"

The Millikin University Choir is led by Dr. Brad Holmes, Millikin professor of music and director of choral activities.
