On
Tuesday, November 10th, Associate Judge Mark A.
Fellheimer (right) announced his candidacy for the
Republican nomination for Circuit Judge of the 11th
Judicial Circuit. The 11th Judicial Circuit includes
Ford, McLean, Livingston, Woodford and Logan
Counties. This is an at-large judgeship to be
elected by the voters in all five counties. The
primary election is March 15th, 2016 and Judge
Fellheimer seeks to fill the vacancy created by the
retirement of Circuit Judge Charles Reynard.
Fellheimer was accompanied for the announcement made
at the Logan County Courthouse by retired Logan
County Resident Circuit Judge David Coogan.

Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital has announced
Terri Ann Jean of Lincoln as the November
Employee of the Month. For over 19 years,
Jean has been a part of the Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital Team but has been an
ultrasound tech for 31 years.

On
Saturday, Lincoln High School senior Austin Swarts
competed in the Submission Challenge League's Submission
Fighting Championship in St. Louis. Austin stepped up to
the 150-pound weight class in the Adult Open Division
and chalked up multiple wins including a win by rear
naked choke in the semifinals of the Gi tournament and a
win by guillotine choke in the semifinals of the No-Gi
tournament. Austin placed 2nd in both tournaments to cap
off a very successful 2015 submission fighting season
which saw Austin claim five separate Championship Golds.
