LDN
staff were out and about once again this weekend,
covering as many of the goings on in Logan County as
possible. On Saturday, LDN was at Middletown for the
Firemen's Fall Festival, attended the Lincoln
Heritage Museum Soiree and visited the Lincoln Art
Insitute for the opening night of Cosmos SW 6528. On
Sunday, we touched base with the Together For
Lincoln group as they built a new pavilion at Ray
White Park in Lincoln. In today's edition, there
will be coverage from Middletown and the Soiree.
Look for coverage on Cosmos SW 6528 and the new
pavilion project on Tuesday.

On Sunday night, in spite of the
weatherman saying it would be cloudy, the skies over Lincoln
were clear enough to count the stars, and see the Blood
Moon. The Blood Moon is a result of the sun casting a
red hue on the moon during an eclipse. This was also a
supermoon. Though not terribly large, the moon appeared
approximately 14 percent larger to the human eye on this
night.
