This Saturday, January 9th will be Family Lego Day at the Lincoln Public Library. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and run until noon in the Library Annex. The morning of fun with Legos is for all families and all ages. In addition to having an opportunity to spend time building and playing, the Logan County 4-H Robotics Club will be on hand to do a demonstration with their Lego Mindstorm Robots. Families may bring their own Lego's, or use the Lego's provided by the library. The library also offers a number of books on the subject to check out and take home. Lego day is free to the public, but pre-registration is requested. Register by calling (217) 732-5732.

Each month, teachers select two students from grades first through fourth and two from grades fifth through eighth to be recognized. Students are chosen based upon Christian attitude, cooperativeness, courteousness, self-discipline and effort.
