[June 28, 2016]  LINCOLN - Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) has announced the beginning of their Cash Draw Fundraiser that will go through August 4th, 2016.

Individuals who purchase a $50 ticket will be entered to win one of four cash prizes:

  • 1st Prize - $2500
  • 2nd Prize - $1500
  • 3rd Prize - $750
  • 4th Prize - $250

All proceeds from the Cash Draw Fundraiser will go to CAPCIL. As the Illinois State budget impasse continues for an undetermined amount of time, the importance and need for support is vital to the agency. Without fundraising efforts and donations from businesses, organizations and/or community members CAPCIL will not be able to provide the poverty fighting initiatives used to boost the local economy. Programs that will benefit from the Cash Draw Fundraiser are Head Start/Early Head Start, Meals on Wheels, The Hand Up Project/Scholarships, Foster Grandparents, Case Management Services, and many others.

The mission of Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) is to serve people with low income by offering supportive services that promote household stability, by forging intentional and collaborative relationships with consumers and communities, and by encouraging clients in their pursuit of self-sufficiency.
